AWS Console — Browse public S3 bucket (without asking for listing permission)

If you want to browse public S3 bucket to list the content of it and download files. You can do so by just logging in to your AWS account and putting a bucket name after https://s3.console.aws.amazon.com/s3/buckets/, to be like this: https://s3.console.aws.amazon.com/s3/buckets/ryft-public-sample-data/ (random bucket name I found online)

This is pretty useful if you don’t know exact filename you want to download from the bucket.

You won’t be able to see bucket policy or change anything sensitive there, which is good. (“You don’t have access to view this configuration. Contact your account administrator to request access.”)
